MEALS
Breakfast
Campers will be provided packaged breakfast items (fruit cups, granola bars, etc.) at the Teter Residence Hall lounge before they leave for the day.
Lunch/Dinner
Campers will be eating lunch and dinner at the Forest Residence Hall Food Court (a 15-minute walk from Radio/TV). Each student will be given a meal card that allows them access to the dining hall. All meals are all-you-care-to-eat, so there won’t be any issue of running out of money.
*If you want to bring extra snacks with you for after hours, feel free!
Food Allergies/Dietary Restrictions
Please email us about any food allergies or dietary restrictions we need to be aware of. This information will affect the breakfasts and snacks we provide.
Generally, there is plenty of food to accommodate all diet types. An RPS Registered Dietician will be on staff, so please feel free to contact them prior to the session for specific dietary discussions. Customers with life-threatening allergies should use caution. Request to speak with the chef at dining locations to prepare food in allergen-free areas for your specific dietary needs.
To inform us of food allergies or any additional questions, please contact:

COVID INFORMATION
At Indiana University, masks are not currently required for students, staff or faculty. If a student starts to feel Covid-like symptoms, the protocol is as follows:
Student immediately takes a rapid-result Covid test (we will have some, but it is suggested to send one with your student just in case)
If the student tests positive, the camper is to stay in their assigned room until picked up by a parent/guardian or until the camper has been fever-free for at least 24 hours (without the use of fever-reducing medication) and have had an overall improvement of their symptoms.
When the student ends their isolation, they are to take the added precautions for the next 5 days:
Wear a well-fitting mask around others
Exercise proper hygiene such as washing hands, covering your mouth and nose when coughing or sneezing, and cleaning frequently touched surfaces
THINGS TO BRING
Clothes for the week
All toiletries
Shampoo & soap – the dorm does not provide
Shower shoes
Alarm Clock (either on phone or standalone device) – the overnight counselor will help get the campers up on time, but it would be good for each camper to also have their own means of waking up.
Any Necessary Medication
Rain Gear – it is not uncommon to have rain during the camp, so please pack a poncho or umbrella for when we will be walking outside.
Notebook/Pens/Pencils
Laptop Computer (optional) – We will provide all necessary computers during the daily sessions, but if your child wants to work on their projects in the evenings at the residence hall, then they may want to bring a personal computer to use.
*Linens are included – Linen packages include bedsheets, pillowcases, and 2 towels. The towels are meant to last the week, laundry has an additional charge. Teter will not provide pillows or blankets, so please bring your own.
*Students will be walking their belonings from Teter to Franklin Hall (20 min. walk) on Friday morning, so please pack a manage amount for them to walk with*
ROOMMATES/FLOOR ASSIGNMENTS
The rooms at Teter accommodate two students each, so most students will be paired with a roommate. Before lights out, students will be permitted to socialize together in the same floor. After lights out, they will sleep on different floors, according to gender with one overnight counselor on each floor. If you would like to request a specific roommate, or if you identify as non-binary and would like to clarify your floor/room preference, please send us an email ahead of time (mschdca@indiana.edu).
*Participants will be supervised at all times by either Andrew, or other instructors/counselors.
*Security at the residence hall is fully operated to only allow entry to those with the appropriate keycard.
